Aisling grew out of years of lived experience - leading teams, managing operations, and building systems that had to perform when it mattered most.
We started by challenging the status quo in leadership development, recognizing the need for Aisling Visionary Leadership Collective. Too many programs were built around frameworks and tools - rich in content but lacking connection and real-world impact. We understood that leadership needed to be more than theory; it must be grounded in human experience, reflection, and practical growth.
As we evolved, so did our vision. We realized that the same depth and intentionality we brought to leadership could, and should, be applied across the broader landscape of organizational capability. So, we expanded. Today, Aisling VLC is a boutique collective offering a holistic approach, blending advisory services with ad hoc leadership development opportunities.

Kristine Vlahos Gagne (MSML, NPPQ, CSM, CSSGB) - Chief Strategy Officer
Kristine Vlahos Gagne is a systems-level execution leader with extensive experience in enterprise strategy, operating execution, and transformation delivery for global Fortune 500 companies across the contract research, biotech, pharmaceutical, and medical device manufacturing industries.
She leads at the intersection of strategy, execution, and enterprise systems. Her work focuses on translating strategies into operating reality across complex environments. She takes accountability for performance, implementation, and the structures that allow transformation initiatives to scale, stabilize, and deliver measurable outcomes over time.
Across enterprise and advisory contexts, she's partnered with senior leaders to drive transformation where execution discipline, governance, and system design matter as much as vision. Rather than operating within a single functional lane, her roles have centered on aligning cross-functional teams, platforms, and decision-making models to ensure that strategy moves beyond intent and into sustained operation.
A core thread in her background is designing and leading the systems that support execution: operating models, performance frameworks, process architecture, and implementation pathways that hold under complexity. This includes leading large-scale initiatives through launch, post-implementation stabilization, and continuous optimization, with a clear focus on durability rather than short-term change.
As a thought leader and educator, Kristine shares insights through podcasts, public speaking, and consulting, having presented at institutions like Bryant University and Northeastern University. Currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in Organizational Leadership, she also holds certifications in Six Sigma, Agile, SCRUM, Business Foresight, Design Thinking, and Behavioral & Cognitive Project Management, further enhancing her Aisling Visionary Leadership approach.
Heather Piper (LAT) - Chief Executive Officer
Heather Piper is a seasoned professional in training facilitation, curriculum development, and process improvement, embodying Aisling Visionary Leadership through her holistic approach to operational excellence. With a strong background in life sciences, research, and manufacturing industries, Heather has played a pivotal role in designing and delivering training programs, optimizing processes, and implementing advanced problem-solving methodologies to enhance organizational capability.
As a certified facilitator with expertise in Design Thinking, Dynamic Work Design, and DiSC assessment, she excels at developing effective training materials, mentoring teams, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Her extensive experience in operations management, stakeholder engagement, and compliance with USDA, GLP, FDA, and DEA standards has made her an asset in various leadership roles.
Throughout her career, Heather has demonstrated a passion for innovation, collaboration, and future-state thinking, earning multiple awards for excellence in process re-engineering and team improvement.
Jennifer Lopez (BS, CSSWB) - Chief Media & Technology Officer
Jennifer Lopez is a hands-on expert who thrives in the world of regulatory compliance, project management, and leadership development. With a holistic approach to troubleshooting and collaborating across business units, she has delivered operational excellence for some of the biggest names in the industry.
Currently, she is the Supervisor of Animal Operations, where she leads staff training and development, optimizes vivarium processes, and ensures smooth operations while maintaining strict compliance with regulations and meeting project deadlines. Jennifer also has the privilege of being a Co-Founder at Aisling Visionary Leadership, where she focuses on strategy, efficiency, and enhancing organizational capability to drive customer success.
Whether it’s regulatory submissions, quality assurance, technical knowledge, or driving innovation, she is dedicated to continuous improvement and delivering top-notch results. Certified in Business Management, Lean Six Sigma, and Project Management, Jennifer has built a strong network in the biotech world and loves tackling challenges head-on!
